I like to read teen/young adult novels. The writing is often complete crap but the stories are SO GOOD!
You know when you fall asleep with something on your mind, something important that necessarily needs to be taken care of and soon, and you wake up super early anxious as all get up. I woke up at 3am with a pressing matter on my mind—The Girl Who Played With Fire.
I was given the firs book of the series (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) by a coworker. I absolutely could not get past the first hundred or so pages and all that trial and boat drivel. He convince me to give the 600+ page book until page 220. God bless him.
I don’t know what kind of deal Stieg Larsson made with what sort of unknown malevolent otherworldly entity. There is just no way. These stories are literary COCAINE. Call me Whitney.

I think I started this blog off with a book challenge but someone twitter wondered if she could read 50 books in 2010. I wonder if I can read 50 books in 2010. It would be interesting to see if that’s possible.
So I will use this site to not only review books I like but review every book (hopefully I get over 50) in the coming year. You are excited. I can smell it.
